Wedding :: Bailey and Blaine

This is a very exciting thing for me. Bailey and Blaine's wedding. The first wedding I've ever shot completely by myself. Two gorgeous people, both inside and out. Enjoy!

Model :: Lindsey

Meet Lindsey. I took her older sister's senior pictures last year, and this year it was Lindsey's turn. We met at her Grandma's house because she wanted pictures by a creek near the house. The whole way there I was trying to scope out areas to shoot in case there wasn't much around the house, and then I got there and it was basically a photographer's happy place. So many different pretty buildings and spaces, I was so excited! And a pretty pretty girl to go with.

Models :: Molly, Ella, Lauren and Terra

Meet Molly, Ella, Lauren and Terra. These girls are so much fun. They're best friends who are about to leave for college, and they wanted pictures together to have when they're miles apart. We started with some ice cream -- and some suckers for Ella -- and then ventured out by their church. They've grown closer to each other while at the same time growing closer to their God, and they wanted their images to reflect that. I think we pulled it off.

Model :: Kaia

Meet Kaia. A senior in high school who likes to laugh. We had to practice a bit before she could keep herself from smiling, but she pulls off a serious face just as well as a smile.

Models :: Tinabee and Emily

These two are such good friends. I loved shooting them because it was constant laughter. Their expressions were true because they were egging each other on, and their joy was contagious. We had so much fun roaming around campus and taking fun pictures of them just being friends.

Model :: Emily

This is going to be a three-part post. Recently I took pictures of two of my good friends, Tina and Emily. They're best friends, so the shoot included some of them together and some of just Tina or just Emily. I'm starting with a post of just pictures of Ms. Emily.

Emily came over to my apartment before the shoot for help with makeup and hair. I had so much fun adding a little control to her fabulous curls and giving her a little natural make up. We talked about her crazy job, school, and what she wants to do when she's done. Emily's just a year younger than me, and I remember a year ago knowing what I loved doing but not being sure how about I was going to make that into a job. God dropped me into the perfect solution, and I can't wait to see what He does in Emily's life!
